Great Plains was the featured lot in our 1999 Basic Blacks Bull sale where
2/3 interest sold to Sitz Angus Ranch, Harrison, Montana and H. D. Dunn and
Son, Tetonia, Idaho for $20,000. Great Plains is doing an excellent job in
the Sitz herd where his sons have been very well received in their annual
bull sale. Great Plains has quickly established an impressive set of low birth,
superior growth EPDs in combination with exceptional Ultrasound Body Composition
EPDs for ribeye area and percent retail product. Great Plains currently records
the third highest ultrasound ribeye EPD in the main Angus sire evaluation
report. His dam is the great Dixie Erica of C H 1019 cow which makes him a
maternal brother to OCC Emblazon 854E, OCC Echelon 857E, OCC Exodus 712E,
OCC Doctor 940D and OCC Focus 813F.
